They are crashing down on the ends and pinching the middle to stop the inside run. For the umpteenth time, the book on Penn State, is make Clifford beat you, and 4 games in every team we played has done this....when defenses begin playing us honest, that's when running holes will appear...might happen this week, might not, but no matter how they play us, we have Mike Yurcich, and they don't.

When Cliff is under center the TB is 8 yards deep. The OLB or edge is hitting the TB long before he reaches the LOS.....it isn't blocking in this case.

Quick pitch or even the option could slow that down. Don't like SC running the option, but I could see MY calling it once.
