agreed. ILL should be a test in terms of bigger and stronger teams than what we've played so far. and as much as their coach turns me off, he's a damn good coach and strategist. He outcoached CJF the last time we played. We then play Iowa who will be as physical a team as we play this year.good to have Nelson back at Left guard.......with Tangwell gone and Nelson out for the game the line still looked very solid against Delaware.....who although a notch below us, we did push around at the line. Dawkins played a lot and looked fine....it will be interesting to see how team splits the time between Wallace and Shelton at RT, especially in the bigger games.
Illinois with a good running attack and a running QB will be a problem, especially first game on the road. Have been surprised how well teams have run on Illinois they were very stoudt last year with a secondary probably as good as PSU's secondary last year.
PSU should win, but we will learn about the PSU Defense, PSU OL and Allar against Illinois.
