Drew Allar probably couldn't have played a much better first half. Penn State probably should be up 24-7, 28-7 at this point but still feels they're in control.
They're not easy, but we are clearly missing an elite receiver who could make those catches. I'm not knocking our guys, it's just reality.

This is the correct take in my opinion. They're not easy catches but you want to win a national championship? You have to make those catches.

It wasn't a perfect throw Loado. It was under thrown. That's precisely why the receiver had to slow down and let the defender catch up to him.

Warren catches that ball 90% of the time. Evans would've been a good catch but not a great one as it wasn't that difficult. Harrison's would've been a great catch, but don't expect him to actually make a great catch.
We kind of went to two minute offense after his long run that was called back so more Nick--very few runs
Up 10 points. Held Jeanty to 39 yards rushing. Clean up the dumb penalties. We get the ball first. Get a TD on the first drive and the game is essentially over.
All in all the first half went pretty well. Jump on them with the opening drive and keep the focus on defending Jeanty

My only issue with Drew is he thinks he's Josh Allen without his speed. Let the backs carry the ball. We had two TO on that last series and Singleton didn't get a carry.
Boise blitzing is the primary factor. We should have audibled out of the 3rd and 3 pitch to Singleton, but their DE bull rushed Warren with the calvary behind him.
Strange that you were dead silent as we go up 14-0, but a constant chatter once the game gets competitive. Just pure negative.
