Sanderson said Devon Van Cura recently was awarded a "huge scholarship from the chemistry department'' for his perfect 4.0 average.

So much for Cael never having a wrestler receiving academic scholarship money -- if that were ever true.

Probably a fairly simple explanation. You don't get academic $$ as a recruit.....you have to prove your mettle once you are in school. Congrats Devon....wrestling and chemistry.....too very tough paths!!!!

That wasn't the claim. The claim was that Cael has never had any wrestler at PSU on any academic scholarship.
