down on offense and defense. Our team is very bad on 3rd down - especially in crunch situations. Those two 3rd down plays given up by the defense on NW last drive were absolute killers. Of course we have all talked the offense's 3rd down failure to death. So if you are into looking for signs as to when we have really improved - look to 3rd down.
