Admittedly, I'm just a guy in his recliner w/ no redeeming expertise. The changes I'd like to see made are:
1. Farmer to the bench. He appears slow, not instinctive, not productive. 47 needs to play. 6 would also be a better alternative. At this point, I'm not sure Bowen should be out there either.
And before the responses come, I understand that 47 is a box LB and Koa is not. Get our 3 best LBs on the field please.
2. Kick Mahon outside to T. Others will know better, but IMO he's been underwhelming at RG and he cannot be a worse option than Chasz currently is. Whomever steps in at RG (Menet, Simpson, etc) will be better than Chasz is at RT. Please preserve the redshirts of Miranda and Thorpe.
3. The PK situation MUST be remedied for next year. The unforseen Davis implosion has cost us dearly. Certainly not the coaches fault, it's just what it is. But it's unacceptable to not be able to rely on a kicker from beyond 35 yards this year. It reared its head again yesterday.
That cannot happen next year and moving forward. I'm not sure what you do with the kid who is hurt who is committed or with Barbir. I'll leave that to those paid to make those decisions, but having a decent K is paramount beginning next year.
