Upperclassmen talent yes. Church, Welsh, Kilkeary weren't guys Cael pursued to my knowledge.

But underclassmen, there are some big time elite prospects emerging. Collin Gaj just dominated Mac Church, Adam Watters pinned Garcia, we all know about Rath. Johnson I think will be an elite heavy if he wrestles. Those are PSU type targets. There are the McCort kids also obviously but I'm still curious how much they emerge. Obviously there are also kids like Duke, Knox in the region in general and obviously Cael can go almost anywhere and enter the convo for elite kids.

Gaj didn't dominate Church -- he won 3-1 on a takedown with 0:10 left, plus 4 penalty points. Church took most of the shots. Gaj withstood a lot of dirty tactics and showed considerable poise. I think Gaj is better and would win much more often than not.

Desmond (SO) also looks very good.

Levi Haines is another prime example of that. He was not remotely on my radar as an elite prospect after his sophomore year.

Levi was on my radar after he shut out Arrington at states.

He got muscled around by Crookham twice that year, but it seemed like Levi would grow out of that.

On my radar is far different from on Cael's. But Levi was commuting to M2, and his dad and uncle know plenty about college wrestling.

I'd call it a decisive win.

A very good wrestler Gaj vs Church who knew he had trouble and tried to turn it into a street fight.

That's exactly what happened. Church turned it into a brawl but Gaj just took the hits and kept coming. It says something about both wrestlers' characters.
