Pitt player arrested

They are too busy posting on Pitt recruiting-verbals. Oh wait never mind...

On a serious note, sounds like Coach Pat has it under control:

"He has expressed to me his extreme regret and disappointment in himself. Alex understands the importance of accountability when a mistake of this gravity is made. We are committed, as is Alex, to ensuring his actions and judgment will be better moving forward.

The kid better pray that he doesn't see jail time for this and thank the lord he didn't hurt anyone else with his actions.
Based on the charges, he most likely wont see jail time, but, he is very very lucky. What a dope.

Suspended for the first game, back for the Penn State game. "Hope you learned your lesson, young man!"

(It isn't going to matter)

Well Well Well... let's see what the douche hands out punishment wise ... their fans repeatedly ripped Joe and all the coaches after him for their "light" punishment when players ran afoul with the law. So let's see if the douche is willing to dismiss a starting player at a key position for them or what punishment he hands down.

He will be suspended for one game (YSU) and as long as he says he is sorry will return for the PSU game.

Not sure why he didn't try to escape on foot?! Even though he is a 315 pound OL I hear he runs a 4.38 forty.

IMHO at a minimum he would be smart to take the year off and get his life in order.
Get treatment and soldify his life. This way if he had any thoughts of playing in the NFL it would look much better. If the douche is as tough as he pertains to be when you have this many charges and your player was removed at gunpoint he should dismiss him from the team to drive home a message. The projected starting guard who started at guard for all of last season was kicked off the team, anyone could be next.

Note, this is not his first brush with the law and drinking. He was arrested about a year ago and the charges were dismissed???

That's too bad. AB effed up big time. I hate to see any player get himself jammed up.

Tyler Boyd got popped for DUI but he was never in trouble before and it was a routine pinch, no car chases or drawn weapons involved.

Once you run from the police, things start getting very serious in a hurry.

I believe Boyd's BAC was something minuscule, too, that wouldn't have put him above the legal limit if he was 21. Not an excuse, of course, but I'd look at that as a mitigating factor if a Penn State player were in that situation.

Not sure how things went down with Bookser, but at first glance it certainly seems like his situation is more serious. I'm glad for him that it didn't end badly.

Not if they don't charge you for it.

These guys live their entire lives in a private area. Nobody wants to be within half a mile of any of them. Even their moms moved to Florida.

Nozzle is already making excuses for the kid on WTAE. Look for nothing major to happen. Captain CooCoo's ahtletic integity just flew out of his ass.

Booker was arrested in 2015 for public drunkeness. Somehow the charges were dropped?? I'm sure the DA will be looking into this. I cant imagine Booker gets off with a slap on the wrist.

The only reason we even know Bookser screwed up was because he was arrested. There have been many Pitt players "in trouble" lately but Narduzzi has kept it under wraps. That's why Their DT was kicked off the team out of nowhere...many previous offenses and university was forced to act. Bookser will be suspended for Tgeir first game, if that

Well there seems to be a history of it with Nardouchie. Just look at all the trouble MSU is in now, that just didn't happen over night. Dare I say it MSU/Pitt, Dantonio/Nardouchie have a "culture" about them. Apparently its win at all costs.
