Pitt player arrested

Not sure what the school or coach will do but you do not even lose your license for a 1st offense. It is a fine and they let you go. The other offenses will come out whenever his trial is. FYI
1st DUI, but not first drinking offense. We'll see what happens. Discipline may not be up to Narduzzi.

I hope no one is disparaging the young man or Pitt Football players at all. He made a very bad decision and there are indications it was not the first mistake of this nature. If so, he needs help. It is a blessing he didn't harm anyone or himself. I would think most rational people would conclude when you end up face down on the street with a police weapon pointed at you......its time for something to change. The only interest I have relates to how the Lair residents judge everyone else. Seeing the bending and twisting logic of how they reason this should be handled is vintage Lair comedy gold. "Officer, why are you pointing the gun at me? Other universities have alcoholic coaches and rape little boys."

I am a senior at main this next academic yr and have a friend who was caught with a DUI. He had a partial scholarship and was not reprimanded by PSU. He had to pay a fine and go to classes once a week for a few weeks.
I know a player at PSU who got a DUI, lost his scholarship and got thrown off the team. See how that works? It's easy to claim something. But nice try troll.

Let's just hope Pitt Fans don't boycott games to protest the disciplinary decision. ;)

To his credit, Capt. Sidney Reilly thinks he should be severely punished or even kicked off the team.
A few key things to consider IMO would be.....was there a prior incident (I know there is speculation) and what sort of precedent are you setting with the disciplinary decision.

The only speculation about the prior public drunkenness arrest in 2015, is why was it dismissed? The arrest is public record. Did he do community service or did someone pull some strings to get it dismissed?

Second offense requires significant consequences IMO.

Of course, if it happens, he will spin it that pitt is ethical while Penn State always puts winning first. You know, he will grab his crayons and start lying yet again.

No speculation on the prior. It's on his charge sheet.
