Pitt's signature defensive play...

Refs missed 2 big ones. One on Amani's interception and one on Hip's TD.

Yea the one on Amani was pretty bad too and really obvious.

What was the penalty on Sanders big run? Was it holding on Polk? cause if it was I didn't see it. Meanwhile on that big run by Ollison someone had a big ol handful of Givens jersey.

I think that one was on Juwan Johnson for offensive pass interference

On the interception, Amani's head was jerked so far to the left that there was no way he could even see the ball. He still caught it. Great play on his part.

Block in the back by Polk and he clearly made NO contact with the guy. Horrible call. As bad as the roughing call on Miller near the sideline.

Pitt's defense doesn't have a specialty, Since the half in 2016, I think we've scored 109 points. To be fair they've scored about 34.

Um, no...the OP was correct - the penalty that brought back Sanders "long run" in the 1st Half was called against Polk, not JJ (you can't have Offensive PI on a run for downfield blocking - impossibility). The call on Polk was for an "Illegal Block In The Back" which replay showed to be an utterly ridiculous call as Brandon pulled up and never even touched the ASWP player. An utterly ridiculous call - one of many by O'Neill's traveling clown show in the 1st Half as the OP partially described.

On the pass Thompkins dropped in the end zone, a Pitt defender grabbed his jersey around the 5-yard line, briefly slowing him down. Had Thompkins not lost a step, he might have had an easier catch.
