I was wondering the same thingAgreed.
Also anyone know why its at Peters Township and not Pitt?
That's very surprising. Cruz has beaten Richie Figueroa. But it seems like he's lost some shine in the past year or so.120- Mason Leiphart (PA) Dec Joey Cruz (USA) 6-2
I assumed it had something to do with Co-Director Phil Mary's ties to the school.Agreed.

Just gonna leave this here:138- Jesse Mendez (USA) MDec Briar Priest (PA) 21-7
Interesting that Crookham isn't going to Dapper Dan. Priest isn't beating Mendez even if he gets promoted to Pope.
Match summary?160- Levi Haines (PA) Dec Aiden Riggins (USA) 7-3.
Any doubt on how that development and progression play out?Haines wins 7-3 over IOWA!!!
152- Hunter Garvin (USA) Fall Jackson Arrington.(PA) 4:28
haven’t his turns against good college guys been off turks? opportunistic turns. he’s not cranking guys over with bars or something. maybe i’m mistaken? never had a real opportunity against riggins. Not trying to downplay Riggins abilities since he's obviously a great wrestler but somewhat shocked Levi wasn't able to get a turn with what he's been doing to college kids recently.
beat me to it hahaLevi has been good at converting takedowns into turks before the opponent can get to base.
But some guys are good at avoiding that.
Appreciate your analysis always. Like I said I was not trying to say he should have teched Riggins in 2 periods by any means. Just saw he's been able to pin a few guys and turned a NQ and Paddy so I thought he might be able to do it to Riggins because Gaitan pulled it off at NOC.haven’t his turns against good college guys been off turks? opportunistic turns. he’s not cranking guys over with bars or something. maybe i’m mistaken? never had a real opportunity against riggins.
haines is what iowa wants their guys to be. grind guys down with elite hand fighting. through 2 minutes those guys are equals. riggins just can’t hold up over 6. you can see a lot of DT’s influence in his hand fighting. very similar approaches to the ways they use their hands.
Isn't he the kid who ...182- Clayton Whiting (USA) Dec Jack Wehmeyer (PA) 5-4
Levi turked Gallagher on a late 3rd period takedown conversion. Otherwise it was a 1-pt win.Appreciate your analysis always. Respect to Riggins, he's taken every match there is to take recently against some top competition, you can see how much the dude loves competing and if you have that much, you have a ton of potential with his talent also.
Transition offense like that can really come in handy!Levi turked Gallagher on a late 3rd period takedown conversion. Otherwise it was a 1-pt win.
Yep. The tougher the competition, the less likely back points come from top -- being able to get swipes from feet is a big skill to have.Transition offense like that can really come in handy!
3:53285- Nick Feldman (PA) Fall Harley Andrews (USA).
** I’ll put the time in after he gets the fall**. Lol
He's about 205 or so. Will be a 197 for Va. Tech. How big is Stewart? I swear I've seen him at every weight from 182, 195 and 220.
I thought they said something about him weighing around 200. Will he try for 184 or 197?How big is Stewart? I swear I've seen him at every weight from 182, 195 and 220.
