Work hard, be very public in your 'struggle', be the go-to expert in what ever egregious crime you suffered through and you become Expert, aka Spokesperson. This is a high honor that not only helps you sell your book, double speaking fees but gets you on coveted Prog events like the Oscar propaganda show.
With all that hard work, a little luck, and perseverance, you may even reach the rarefied air of Martyr. This is the highest honor when you get called to the White House when the next D Pres is in office, or get invited to a seat of honor w some Prog Kingmaker at the next State of the Union.
