Sonny Landreth. Mind boggling talent and renowned for being one of the nicest, most down to earth musicians you’ll ever meet.

Clapton loves him.
Yeah, I have South of I-10 but haven’t listened to it in a long time. He looks similar to Pearson who is also a lesser known that all the musicians rave about. Thanks.

I picked up a really nice Larry Carlton album (Last Nite, circa 1987) in our local record shop. Plays nice and clean and cost me all of 50 cents.

He plays a lot locally, but shuns the limelight...just wants to play. In my car, I play "Alone but Never Alone" a lot. The first song is "Smiles and Smiles to Go". Several years ago, my sons and I were walking through a large outdoor sports store and my one son said "dad, they are playing that song you like." I listened for a bit and realized it was the song but not the recording. I followed the music and there was Larry playing on the second floor all by himself just relaxed and enjoying it. I talked to him for a while. Nice gentlemen.
