Dose anyone else think we should upgrade and change some of the old pregame and during game festivities a bit. I'm not saying to abolish the old stuff, just add in some upbeat more new school exciting things that would fire up the crowd more.
The We Are Penn State chant rocks Beaver Stadium more than anything, and should and will live forever.
As for the changes I don't have all the answers. But just spit balling, maybe more fireworks after scores or big plays. More hard core music threw out the game. Especially in between plays and during tough games.
Imagine in a tough game, right before 4th qtr. starts. And then they show a picture of JoePa on are huge video board saying some kind of old saying about being tough and encouraging and then blood falls down covering the picture similar to Rocky 5, and the Mic scene, where he says "I didn't hear know bell, get up you son of a b--ch because Micky loves You."
Could you imagine how much more crazier that crowd get. I hope that didn't sound to tacky, but it's a perfect example.
These ideas would make for more excitement throughout the game. It all comes down to making for more excitement and crowd noise throughout the game.
I'm sick of hearing about how loud and electric it is at LSU games. But they do have a way that keeps the crowd electric threw the whole game.
