VS...Oregon the offense played great but defense sucked.
VS....SMU the D played great but Offense, mainly Drew and pass game, sucked.
To beat ND or UGA (yes I'm looking ahead) we have to play a complete game on O and D.
I know ND and UGA have a few ups and downs this year and no team has looked elite. However, since ND lost to Northen Illinois they have been playing REALLY WELL on BOTH sides of the ball. Statistically they are maybe the best team Offense and Defense combined. 3rd in Scoring D, 4th Scoring O. And if it's UGA they are very well coached and have more overall talent though its not a huge gap. Do not be fooled thinking Beck out for UGA will hurt them. Gunner Stockton was highly ranked, is very talented and a good runner which they didn't have in Beck.
If Franklin is ever going to silence his critics, he MUST beat ND or UGA.
