Predictably...

This isn't about Joe Paterno. This is about a complete lack of fiduciary responsibility by the BOT. It's about poor stewardship by the administration. Yes, it is also a learning experience. When the alumni are told our time at PSU is done, our opinions and input aren't wanted, just our donations, perhaps it's time to show them what a university without alumni input truly is like in all ways.
Exactly. My choice not to give has little, now, to do with Joe. As far as the Alumni Association is concerned, it has to do with the changes to Alumni Council, for example, and the packing of that organization with folks the alumni rejected.

Babies and hot water. Don't throw them both away. Now is the time to prove your love for Penn State. Not the football program not Joe but for the great University coincided with them.
A friend in need is a true friend. When you turn your back Corbet and crew win. The target was the University Joe was collateral damage.

I spent 4 years living at University Park getting my BS and another few years getting my MS from good old PSU. I learned to love Penn State. However, as far as giving money to the football program, I have concluded that I am more loyal to Joe Paterno than I am to Penn State football. I will never give another dime to the football program until the statue is back up.
