I'm not a season ticket holder and attend most games, sitting in sections C,D,E,or F below row 40. Proposed new seating appears to show seating even higher than the current South end zone seats...I sat there once, never again...

How do folks feel about seats in the stratosphere?

When the south upper deck first opened, I got season tickets there. I didn't like it because I felt too disconnected to the blue band and students, which is part of the experience for me. I knew others that loved it there because you watch plays develop. I moved my season tickets down to the lower bowl after 2 seasons. Six rows from the field on the 5 yard line. Loved it there.

I no longer have my season tickets. I only get to 2-3 games now and will generally get seats where you do. I like being close to the field.

Where do you propose they add seats? Underground? In the parking lot?

I agree with that. The chair backs in the south deck are great but there is a sense of disconnection up there. If the artist's renderings of the renovated Beaver Stadium reflect the future plan, all the new seating will be in the same bowl even if some of the seats are further away than anything we currently have. I think the sense of being down inside the crowd will lessen the feeling of being farther away.

My North end zone experience was MEH.
