Waiting for a bus pickup after the game, a number of our players walked by, each dressed in their PSU warmup suits and carrying a pizza back to their homes. As they passed several of us acknowledged them and just said - "nice game", "good job tonight" or something to that effect. Without exception, each player smiled and politely said thank you, or thanks for coming out to watch us to the group. Clearly Franklin has taught these young men how to relate to the public and represent Penn State. In addition to doing well on the field, they made me proud that they are wearing our "uniform" off the field as well. They are Penn State.
