PSU and the USS Teddy Roosevelt
We are everywhere

There is a saying instituted by the skipper on the Teddy Roosevelt

"We are T R"

He was class of 1990

I saw him a few times during my 7 day trip from Pear Harbor to San Diego on the TR

I wore a Penn State Hoodie prominently and he would come over to me

My son is a Navy Pilot on the boat. His squadron XO is an Ohio State grad and he wore an Ohio State Hoodie on top of his flight suit. Needless to say he was in a sorry mood after his team lost to MSU on Saturday

Fliers also are graduates of MSU and Michigan.

A top NCO on the boathas a son playing for the BBall team who is currently injured

The TR dropped over a million pounds of bombs in the Middle East on their round the world deployment

Thanks to the Armed Forces network I was able to watch our game and the Ohio State game right after

I am so proud of all the people including my son who serve on that great ship

Loved my 7 days on it!

Also loved that I could not get internet!
