PSU - Maryland 2020 Dual Thread

I felt bad for Maryland's 133, that kid did not want to be there anymore after the middle of the 2nd

Quiet thread today, people already pregaming for the super bowl or just a lack of interest in MD. Of course some regulars are probably at the duel. :D:D Or is it dual?

nick up 8-0 end of 1st with over 2 mins of riding time.

Lee ridden much of 2nd, but gets reversal and a tilt late in the 2nd, up 14-0

Baxter choses top

Verk up 2-0 and over 2 mins ride time end of first.

verk riden half the second then he gets a reversal, or escape? Gets a td and up 5-0 so i guess escape then TD, end of second 5-0 and 1:33 ride time.

md takes top for third

Did JB just say Berge was being checked at Mayo clinic? Ok, yes he did. JB said hope is still for him to wrestle this year but long term health is most important, of course.

Combination, I would presume. Many at dual, for sure . . . but also a little
tough to get up for MD after the
other night . . . add some pre-Super Bowl food prep, plus intriguing individual matchups elsewhere in the B1G, and you get a subdued/divided attention following on here today.

Bo up 2-0 late in second. Nothing but an inadvertent eye poke in first. Second Bo starts down and gets a reversal, then some ride time of over a minute. Ends 2-0 going into third. md takes neutral

riding time assured, stall warning on Bo, caution on restart for MD

Bo gets his first dual meet victory 3-0, PSU up 17-3 at break

Nebraska and Ohio State just ended in, well, an interesting way. Won't divulge details (results) in case some might want to watch a replay.

Berge at the Mayo clinic is not by default a wrestling negative. It may be a final step in gaining medical clearance.
As far as long term health, the kid is still in school indicating his brain is academically, functioning properly.

I'll drop 2 hints: the dual started at 174, and it came down to the final weight.
