For clarity: Gaj lost 2x at Hershey to Beca FR Kollin Rath, the second time in SV. Both were on the same side of the bracket as Mac Church.
Rath is not entered in NHSCAs.

Good win. The kid Gibson beat in the finals is the state runner up at 120 in Cali. I’m sure most know but California only has 1 class. Winning a title there is extremely hard. It’s behind PA but I put it top 3 or 4 in the country as the best wrestling state.

Hopefully the 2nd one pushing back is anything like the last time an announcement got delayed -- couldn't reach all of the other coaches before going out of the country for a family trip.

some people thought i was being a douche by stringing it out. the parents told me he wasn't all into the hype. so i was just trying to do something fun and refreshing.
Guess is: 2022 small class, 2023 good sized, 2024 small, 2025 big.
That's just based upon the number of known PSU commits + very high-end uncommitted guys in each class. We'll see how it actually turns out.

Great pickup for sure. Just trying to wrap my head around this. I am confused on why freshmen verbal so early? What are the benefits and pros to this. Has Perry ever left St College area. How does he know if Cael has or wants to give money? Is he the first freshmen to ever verbal? Shoot who will be the first Ms to verbal?

I had a strong inclination that it was Perry as soon as Willie's earlier hint "not entirely" was posted.
Seems like a great fit as far as character, mindset, and talent. Pretty early commitment, which means there's plenty of time for things to change, but in this case, that seems to be fairly low risk. I think this was a case of merely when not if.
