PSU should follow UPENN model bringing students back...

Penn prof Rafael. Robb murdered his, wife. Penn prof Mcitire raped a student. Penn also knew about prof Scott ward who was raping children for decades.

They are for the most part except this one:

Penn will also test all students when they arrive on campus, unlike other schools that plan to focus testing efforts on symptomatic students.
Is PSU having private rooms only? That would mean that 1/2 of the dorm kids can't come back for in person classes.

How do any of these colleges expect to keep kids from interacting when not in class?

What they should do is have all the kids, except ones with issues come back two weeks early. Have a massive party. No one on or off of campus for 2 weeks. Kinda like what they did in Seattle. No hand sanitizer, no soap. Big party first night everyone must attend , no masks. Then it will be all over and everyone can go on with their lives!

I have a friend who’s daughter will be a freshman field hockey player at American in DC. He told me they are Only doing single rooms for kids and freshman get first shot at getting a room. Also, when all dorm rooms are filled, students have to find off campus housing themes. To add they do not want parents moving kids into the dorms. They are asking parents to ship all of their kids belongings to the school and then staff will place it in the dorm rooms. Plus, they are giving faculty the option to teach online if they do not feel comfortable. So, a freshman could end up isolated in a dorm room by themselves and have to still take all classes online. Also, cafeterias may be take out only.

what would be the point of even going to college at that point. goto your local community college for credits at 1/4 the price.

agree. Think that is the discussion a lot of parents Are having. There no guarantee because a school says they are back to in person learning means all the classes will be that way.
