Purchasing Disney Tickets

I always bought ours online through the Disney website. Not sure what the savings is, but I find it much more convenient and reliable. Also, if you're staying onsite, you will be getting the new Magic Bands. If not staying onsite, you can purchase Magic Bands at Disney Springs and covert your ticket information to the Magic Band.

Ensure you get you registered and fill out your fast pass info. It will save you some time waiting in lines. Google the company name and check their BBB rating.

Undercovertourist is very reputable. I have not purchased Disney tickets through them, but I have for Universal and SeaWorld. I'm not sure if things have changed in recent years, but it is very difficult to get discounts on Disney tickets. When Disney offers discounts during slower times, they discount the hotel rooms and/or offer free dining but not the tickets.

Has anyone ever purchased Disney theme park tickets from Undercover Tourist? If so, did you have any problems?

SC1BOB.....Do not fear Undercover Tourist! I just took the family to Disney during the first week of December and we stayed off property. We usually stay on-property so I had to purchase our park tickets. I did a lot of digging, including talking to my AAA agent, and decided I was going to purchase my tix through Undercover Tourist. Everything went as smooth as you could imagine. Upon purchasing the tickets I received a mailer which enclosed 5 creditcard sized tickets (one for each of my family). I had then purchased Magic Bands and I was able to link those tickets to the Magic Bands through the My Disney Experience App on my iphone. You can do it through a computer too. Long story short, if you are staying off-property and are not getting your tickets in a package deal, save your self some money and buy the discounted tickets at Undercover Tourist as they are the same as buying tix at the entry gate. Have great trip!

Just take out a second mortgage and get the VIP tour tickets. Your kids will love you.

Piggy-backing on this thread.....any suggestions on where to book Disney Cruise, is AAA still my best bet?

Undercover tourist is good. We go to Disney 4x a year (sigh) and it's fine. People go crazy to save $10 on disney tickets but then buy bottled water daily. I digress though.

We have AAA and have been buying through undercover tourist for years...probably 10 times total. Never an issue and nothing to fear at all.

I too have bought Disney tickets from Undercover Tourist in the past and not had a problem. You get the same tickets as you would just going up to the ticket booths and buying them. You can then use the numbers on the tickets to link the tickets to your "My Disney Experience" account and use them to book Fastpass Plus ahead of time.

When I did the research in the past, I think Undercover Tourist tickets were cheaper than AAA (but literally like a dollar or two) though these things can ebb and flow over time.
