Purdue's Coach Brohm...

This guy is a radio host? Isn't it odd to announce something like this when there are still regular season games left to play? Seems weird.
Yeah. Don't know his sources or credibility.

Don't know the validity but he does say it won't be announced until the Monday following Purdue's last regular season game. Which would make more sense.

I feel bad for Purdue but I dont really fault Brohm for doing this, he is everything Louisville born there, played there, coached there. Now Purdue needs to make a good hire to try and keep everything going there.

Making a good hire would preclude Dooz from going to Purdue. OTOH, I'm sure the other six schools in the B1G West would love to see that guy in their division.

The momentum of back to back 6-6 seasons (that is assuming they get there this year). I know they were awful under Hazel, but they were pretty good under that guy Tiller.

that was with Hazels talent mostly so Brohm might be doing a better job then some might give him credit for and he has recruited some playmakers already there.

14 mill to Petrino to NOT come to work anymore. Man, I wish I could have that happen to me! Nah, I would just blow it...

It’s possible that Brohm is just getting another big salary bump. Increase his wealth and keep working on what he is building, while keeping Louisville as a safe landing spot if things go poorly in Purdue. I think he can do better than Louisville, if he wants to leave Purdue.

Yes i think he can do better then Louisville but Louisville is his home and probably dream job if there is such a thing for him. I think Louisville is easier place to win as well in the ACC Clemson is the only team i would really fear as the rest of conference is kinda average at best he does play in the easier division in the B1G but the championship itself runs through the B1G east champ.

Not like Brohm was making chump change at Purdue. And Purdue just put huge money into a brand new football complex building. I wonder where the money is coming from at Louisville to buy out the $14 million from Petrino and then give Brohm what has to be at least a 5 year deal in the $25 million dollar range plus Brohm has to be getting some serious money commitments from Louisville on program upgrades.

Brohm is from Louisville, played at Louisville, is the son of a lengendary Louisville high school coach. I do not believe Louisville is a safe landing spot for him. There are other programs that would reach out to him that he could use for that if that was his goal. I don’t think he would do that to Louisville.

Papa John is no longer a sponsor at Louisville so I am sure the money isnt coming from there.
