Funny they has Pry as a candidate too. There is a huge drop off from O'Brian to Pry. I highly doubt VT is going to pay what they need to attract O'Brian.
I don’t think BOB has done himself any favors with Alabama’s offensive performance this year. They have been erratic and inconsistent even with a great young QB. There overall ranking is good but there have been games where they have really. struggled especially late in the year.

The Virginia Tech Hokies have found their man. Virginia Tech is hiring Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry as its next head coach.
He may very well take the job, but I would point out that until recently sources had Riley going to LSU (oops) and no inkling Kelly was going anywhere.
I'd also note that Pry has (in the past) said he doesn't really want to be a head coach.
Finally, even the way the tweet is written does not state that there is mutual interest, only that (according to Thamel, who is a good source) Pry is #1 target.

You can’t be serious. Everyone knows PSU was geared up for a National Championship run in 2014 if BOB had stayed.
