I know, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma State . . . then Big10s, however, looking down the road, wondering what weight Zahid Valencia will be wrestling at. It's been assumed 174 as that is where he was for most of the season. But, since January 22, he has wrestled 184 in 4 of 5 matches including on 2/12. It could be that he has been wrestling these as an undersized 174 pounder. If not, wouldn't he have to be at 174 by 2/15 and do so per the no more than 1.5% drop in weight per week rules? Does this mean that if he weighed in at 177 or higher on Sunday, he must wrestle 184 at NCAAs?

I've been assuming Zahid is the 1 or 2 at 174 with a possible semi or final match up with Mark Hall. Could he be #3 at 184 with a semi match-up with Bo Nickal?

Highly unlikely that he goes 184 in the postseason. Wouldn't read anything into the duals -- who west of the Rockies challenges him at either weight? That he was 174 in one of the past 5 tells me he's hovering there.

We'll know for sure at Pac 12s.

Weigh-ins are the key. He could weigh in at 174, and wrestle 184. As El-Jefe alluded, time will tell.
