Question to the all knowing Wrestling board on Morgan Mcintosh?

My sister's Chiropractor is personal friends with Morgan and told her that he is wrestling for the US Army. I'm assuming that he is being sponsored by the US Army for his freestyle career. I'm hoping that he will still be wrestling and training with the NLWC. I know that David Taylor made a similar move in regard to sponsorship last year. Thanks for any input!

Think Matt joined to be a regular soldier. He could have joined the reserve or guard and still wrestled for NLWC.

No it was definitely Morgan.

Morgan seems pretty laid back for the Army. Or does Army sponsor athletes that aren't otherwise associated with Army via ROTC, being enlisted, etc.?

Yep, and he's been AWOL from the NLWC as he wraps up some Army Training out west. It's my understanding he's trying to enter the World Class Athlete Program. I'm going to say something that's been a repeated message on this forum and Scout...what a great man, and representative of Penn State University.

I guess Morgan's being team mates with Matt all these years along with sharing Matt's house might have influences his decision. Two very classy and intelligent individuals.
