I spoke with contacts about this today and have been trying to confirm it with the player all day. I'm yet to speak with Mark, but I've spoken with enough people now that I'll post it.
DE Mark Gooden, from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, is expected to be on campus Thursday, April 9. I knew Penn State was monitoring him, but I haven't been able to learn where he ranks on the recruiting board. I don't believe he's going to pick up an offer while on campus, but again, I do need to learn more. One thing I do know is that PSU is interested in him potentially playing linebacker. We have him listed at 6-1, 220. His hudl film is 6-1, 232, so he's probably around 235 right now.
