"Family, friends, and Penn State Community,
After a long process of talking with friends and loved ones I have decided to further my football and academic career at the University of Delaware. The two seasons that I have spent at Penn State have been a tremendous growing experience for me where I've built relationships with people that I know will last a lifetime. The fans at Penn State are the most loyal in the nation and the game day experience in front of 107k of them is second to none. I thank Coach Franklin for the opportunity he gave me at Penn State and all he's done for me in my time there. I thank my teammates for pushing me and battling with me over the past two years, they will always be my brothers. I wish Penn State nothing but the best.
Penn State will always be a part of who I am and I'll never forget those who have helped me grow while I was there. I have grown up going to University of Delaware games since I was a few weeks old. At Delaware I will be playing in front of my home community, for my father's alma mater where he was a fullback and captain in the 80's, and along side my brother Colby for the remaining 3 years of my eligibility. I believe in where the Delaware football program is going. I believe in Head Coach Dave Brock, his vision for the program, and could not be more grateful for the opportunity he is giving me. I am and always will be proud of my past. I hope Nittany Nation feels that I represented them well in my time there and hope they know I gave it my all for them not just every Saturday but in all that I did in my time there on and off the field. Ultimately, life is too short to not do what makes you happy. I'm happy to be home and proud to have the opportunity to represent my state!

Thank you all!
Troy Reeder"

Can't believe how many of our fans are crapping on this kid. He is total class. Wants to play home and with his brother.

Some of our fans are pussies.... Plain and simple...same everywhere. Reeder is a great kid and comes from a great family...what makes him the happiest makes me the happiest. Screwvthe fickle pussy fans here and everywhere.

When I read these posts (Reeder's) it simply tells me how immature and stupid I was when I was 19, 20, 21 years old. Best wishes, Troy. One never knows when their ship comes in and you are following your heart. Anyone else who doesn't agree with this sentiment can jump off the bus when we slow down for the next curve.

Lincoln to give address in Gettysburg...
Gettysburg? Why? OK, there was that battle thing, but why not Philly or Pittsburgh? No one will remember the guy if he keeps doing stupid stuff like this.;)
