So my good friend who still coaches football texts me this afternoon and tells me how his team has been practicing since yesterday. He feels very confident that there will be a high school football season in NJ.

THEN about an hour ago he texts me, "Hey it looks like we are going to be teaching virtually to start the year, so you and I can continue to golf our asses off like we've been doing since April."

So think about it. The SAME district that thinks it's safe to play football, a contact sport, doesn't think it's safe enough to have kids in a classroom. Honestly I don't know enough medicine or science to say either choice is right or wrong. But that seems weird to me, kind of a contradiction maybe?
