Roku question

does Roku stick have BTN2GO and MLB@bat apps???
I don’t know much about the Roku stick but I have a Roku 3 that I use with Youtube TV. I get BTN, TCM, MLB and bunch of other channels including local channels. Plus free cloud recording of unlimited movies/sports for 9 months at a time. I’m recording the hell out of TCM and AMC for slow nights. I’m loving it for 35 bucks a month.

If they support the Roku platform, that means you can install an app on Roku to play them. BTN2go has an app for sure. I don't know about the other but probably the answer is yes.

Roku is the most popular streaming platform and the only one that is really agnostic about content. Roku will work with anybody and carry anybody's content as long as they make a Roku app that works.

All the others (Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Chromecast) are going to have holes depending on what parent corporation is having a fight with the other corporation. For example, Google won't carry Amazon Prime Video and also won't make a YouTube app for Amazon Fire. Apple refuses to support a long list of perceived Apple enemies (Apple did reluctantly start supporting Netflix, but not Amazon prime video). YouTube TV (Google's excellent tv streaming service) won't run on the Amazon streamer and only started supporting Roku.

I think for that reason if you want to have the most choices of streaming content, buy a Roku. Though Amazon Fire's voice search is really good.
