I miss the RutgersAl youtube videos. They were great... the stuff of legend. It's nice to have a poster who simply loves his team and enjoys being a fan.

I think the guy is great! He supports his team without denigrating the other team they are playing & doesn’t constantly harp about firing his coach, not buying season tickets next year or blaming the administration.
I like when other team’s fans come here in a respectful manner. It adds to the conversation. That certainly includes Al.
He is also humorous. He helps lighten the mood here and in my book is welcome here any time.
You have to love RutgersAl he is always enjoyable. I feel for the guy because it really must be depressing and difficult to be a Rutgers fan.
He is definitely one of their better fans. Although he may have a legendary case of dementia, he is certainly respectful enough.

While all that may be true, I hear Al goes berserk when they close parking lots due to bad weather. Every fan has their breaking point.
Al's like that buddy that can't stop messing with you but enjoys it just as much when you return fire. I known a few guys like that and enjoy being around them.

That might be true for all other Rutgers fans. but rutgersal anticipates a win every week so he keeps his armor in top shape.

I'm privileged to know Al and be able to call him my friend. He's a classy person and an amazing human being. The world needs more people like him..

Truth be told.....the first time I read a RutgersAl post....I thought that it was Rutgers Gal...and I thought that it was interesting that there was such a pleasant lady who was such a strong fan of Rutgers Football....took me a year or so to realize it was Al and not Gal.......Either way enjoyable person, good poster on par with King Ad Buck for bringing the most joy to this board from another team.
I have always admired Al's courage in posting his opinions in what is nothing more than sewage of a fan base on that godawful message board. He is a beacon of light and proves that there is at least one decent Rutgers fan.
