Purdue is 4-3. But they are awesome, don't you agree?4-1 this year and they blew out osu. Please stop the sanctions talk at this point.

4-3 with a loss to Eastern Michigan....what would this board be like if we lost to Central Michigan?4-1 this year and they blew out osu. Please stop the sanctions talk at this point.
Agree. I never got the hype about #7. He’s gotten to the QB untouched a few times. Otherwise, I don’t see it.My pet peeve is that #7 continues to see the field.
It’s insanity
Really. Cmon you don’t need to quote sanctions to have success. Find a way to win. Heck we were worse off in 2016 then now and won the big ten. Enough is enough. Move on4-3 with a loss to Eastern Michigan....what would this board be like if we lost to Central Michigan?
What of Manny, how many games including the Rose Bowl in which we could of used him along with other key games. So should we overload recruiting a position with 5 linebackers, so in 4-5 years we have to recruit 5 linebackers in that class. What of the transfers, like Andre, or throwing Paris Palmer right into the fire from JC, what about Irv Charles. Yeah it is about sanctions, other than the SMU death penalty no other team had to go through what we did there is no measuring stick for the sanctions.
I replied to it but apparently you just ignore any info that contradicts what you post. What about those? Your examples have nothing to do with sanctions. These things happen at every program. Sanctions have nothing to do with them.
Nobody has replied to my numbers yet because they know it disproves their sanctions nonsense.
We have had five full recruiting classes since the last sanction class. That a half decades worth. In those classes we have recruited 4 MLB. That’s not a sanctions issue.
Blaming our woes on sanctions at this point is ****ing lazy. It’s objectively stupid and shows how silly this board is.
Coaching can’t make a finished product in one year. We have coaching but experience only comes with time.Stop it we have plenty of good players on this team. We just don’t have the coaching
I could not agree more. This board is silly, especially during the season. What about those? Your examples have nothing to do with sanctions. These things happen at every program. Sanctions have nothing to do with them.

How many scholarships did we lose during sanction i say at least 20, those 20 spots had to be filled by bodies, personnel had to switch positions. We had to keep the program afloat with skill players. What about those? Your examples have nothing to do with sanctions. These things happen at every program. Sanctions have nothing to do with them.

This is probably the last year but it is still tearing its ugly head primarily on defense. Multiple players on last years team would have redshirted under normal conditions and had another year. Our defense is very average and or young in certain positions. As long as Franklin can hold the recruiting together better times are on the way.
Coaches are not putting the players in the best position to win the game. We miss good d coaches like Bradley, Vanderlinden and Johnson....
Need a change...
I'm not sure why you are solely focused on recruiting. Without sanctions, Apke would be playing this year and likely Gesicki. They would have redshirted. Two examples off the top my head, but there are likely others who were not redshirted and played as true freshmen or later (before they were ready) due to sanctions. Franklin has indicated that this is the first year the scout team exhibits game speed. Again, an impact of sanctions. You could argue it shouldn't impact this year, but it has in previous years, which impacts this year as well.We have to chase every recruit every year. It's no different. There is not a single player who was recruited while we were on sanctions that would have eligibility left today. If we were never on sanctions and recruited 8 MLB during that time they would all be gone.
We have half a decade worth of classes since we last recruited a class where we had 15 scholarships. And we've recruited 4 MLB. The idea that we are still feeling the effects of them is just an excuse. Franklin has recruited lights out at WR, DB, and OL since then. He's brought in plenty of guys. He hasn't at LB.
LJ's D line got ripped a new one by Purdue. Vanderlinden is at Air Force? Bradley didn't have much success at UCLA. Just sayin'.Troll say what??
Don't insult Central Michigan. Eastern is much worse.4-3 with a loss to Eastern Michigan....what would this board be like if we lost to Central Michigan?
That was a mistake...I meant to write Eastern Michigan.Don't insult Central Michigan. Eastern is much worse.
If the negativity continues.......it isn't realistic to think the great recruiting will continue. Parents and athletes watch twitter and other social media. Players are already commenting on the PSU "fan base." The media will once again put Franklin on the "hot seat" and so it goes. This loyal fan base was giddy with better than anticipated results in 2016. Sometimes expectations are not met. That's why the games are played. Look at the level of talent that we have had to replace.I contend that the loss of talent pales in comparison to the loss of on field leadership.
