Sandusky PCRA hearing scheduled for March 24 in Bellefonte

Judge Foradora is getting up to speed on the extensive record and has scheduled a hearing next month to discuss possible issues from both sides that need testimony. I am guessing that it will be several months before Judge Foradora makes a decision on whether or not he believes that Sandusky deserves a new trial.

If Judge Cleland would have stayed at judge, you probably would have been correct.

With Judge Foradora, it could go either way. Sandusky's lawyers (Lindsay and Salemme) have identified 34 issues, none of which are specious IMO. If Judge Foradora is objective, I believe he will rule in favor of Sandusky. In the event that Judge Foradora rules against Sandusky, there will be an immediate appeal to Superior and/or the Pa. Supreme Court. I like Sandusky's chances on appeal as Lindsay and Salemme have made a very compelling case in the record of an unfair trial.

Duquesne Law School professor Wes Oliver states that it looks like there were some serious mistakes in the trial and that Sandusky has one of the strongest cases that he has seen for post conviction relief.

Deny his appeal and give him the chair like he deserves. The guy is a creep and should never see the light of day. His wife Dottie who must be funding his lawyer fees should be in lockup also. Sick of his name being in the news.

You know, you can have respect for all of those things and still believe that in this case Sandusky received proper constitutional due process and that his 2012 trial revealed the truth of his crimes.

And your middler isn't next to your head.
