Some of the comments are equally scary. Reading comprehension gets worse with every passing year. Even after 25 years of absorbing hits, his intellect surpasses that of some of the worthless louts who posted comments. This is very concerning and scary....

So we are supposed to feel bad for someone that chose to play a contact sport for their profession? Keywords being chose and contact.
He earned his degree from Penn State, he could have chosen a different professional career.
We get it, concussions lead to memory loss. I have it too at 28 from many concussions during soccer. I chose to play, I am not going to cry about my choice to play a sport and the impact it has on me now. I could have quit at any time.

Anybody have any idea what anti aging supplement he would take? Thanks.
Did you come up with this yourself?I think that part of the answer is crackable helmet shells to disperse and absorb the impact. When a shell is cracked the player must leave the field for concussion testing while the helmet shell is replaced. This will protect the players and also encourage proper tackling technique so that they can remain on the field.
i think so, but its possible that i saw it somewhere in the past. to me, a crackable outer shell would work like crumple zones in cars. the drawback is the cost of replacing shells.Did you come up with this yourself?
