Senior bowl underway

Hamilton getting some love from the announcers at the start of the game

North QBs not looking that sharp. attempt to hit Hamilton are really off. a couple passes okay to MG.

Marcus Allen not there apparently.

This weeks practices where Hamilton excelled will help his draft position, obviously. But there were some tough catches that he could have made but did not. Wish he had show great hands in the game as well.....

He’s playing. According to the NFL Network twitter.

Allen? They confused him with a guy named Cooper who wore#2 and wore a clean White helmet. Looked like him but not the name

Ah ok - was just following along on twitter. Any reason given for why he didn’t play?

WTH team has a logo/motto that looks like a tick? One of the QBs had a white helmet with a red tick?
Richmond Spiders

bored today, but I found this, fyi...
Marcus Allen, safety
Allen, a Penn State fan favorite, did not play on Saturday.

It’s not clear whether it was due to injury or a personal choice not to play. The NFL Network crew made no mention of his absence.

However, play-by-play announcer Andrew Siciliano did credit Allen with a second-quarter interception — before realizing it was another safety wearing No. 2 and a white helmet, Louisiana Tech’s Secdrick Cooper.

Christian Campbell, cornerback
Campbell didn’t play either, but his absence was expected.

The corner — who was reportedly dealing with a back strain during practice — announced on Twitter just hours before the game that he would sit out due to “risk issues.”

“I gave my all every single practice and couldn’t ask for a better experience,” Campbell said in a statement. “I’m very humble because of the position god has put me in. I thank (Phil Savage) and all the staff at the Senior Bowl for the opportunities.”

Despite the nagging injury, Campbell impressed all week. One reporter called him an “outright eraser” in coverage, while Optimum Scouting owner Eric Galko said Campbell could be a top-40 pick come April’s NFL draft.

Good find; had no idea Campbell was doing so well. Hope it pays off for him!

Glad to see all of our seniors in the secondary are doing so well. Just hard to fathom watching some of the games this year, most notably; Michigan State and ohio State. Would'nt have guessed we had NFL talent all over the back end allowing all these passing yards. Shows what I know.
