I understand now why all you Flyer fans hate Sidney Crosby.

I don't follow the NHL but geez man. You posted about a topic which had absolutely nothing to do with the Flyers but then you twisted it to take a shot at Flyers? That tells me which is the more insecure fan base.
I can't name one player on the Flyers roster but I'm sure many of them are involved in heart warming stories as well.
No Flyers fan will deny Crosby's talent, nor his integrity as a human being.
What is undeniable, is his incessant crying for calls on ice. Its what all superstars do to influence games. If he were in Philly, he'd be beloved. But he's not.
Penguins are our bitter rivals. Do you expect rose pedals to be thrown on the ice next time they visit Philly? Please.

He didn't cry for calls like he used to. That shows you actually don't watch the games or know what you are talking about. No Flyers fan will deny Crosby's talent, nor his integrity as a human being.

Wow, so I misspelled "petals" and I don't know what I'm talking about regarding hockey....geez. Oh I forgot, the Flyers will never win the Cup.He didn't cry for calls like he used to. That shows you actually don't watch the games or know what you are talking about.
You know what they say, people who belittle do so to feel better about themselves, have to try and pad their own egos. Sad, very sad.I don't follow the NHL but geez man. And winning with class seems to be a problem here, I kid you notBy the way, game 7 of the 1987 Stanley Cup finals was just on.
Darn those Oilers were really good, huh??
Don't worry Flyer fans however; your future is very bright. I kid you not.
Scoring goals is still a problem for your team.
I'm very confused why any Flyers fan think Pens fans are insecure just because they mock them. The Pens have won 5 Cups in 30 years, there is zero insecurity, it's just fun to make fun of Flyers fans.
When we mock Rutgers fans, is that insecurity too?

Man, as a Flyers fan, as painful as it was to give Crosby props, you took it the wrong way.
Pathetic.

No, making fun of Rangers fans is just the right thing to do.
It's not pathetic. It's a sports fan being a sports fan. It happens in Pittsburgh, New York, LA, Dallas, even Philly.Man, as a Flyers fan, as painful as it was to give Crosby props, you took it the wrong way.

I think you might want to look up the meaning of the word insecure. Franchises with 5 Stanley Cups in 26 years don't have insecure fan bases. That he happens to think that the way a many Flyers fans treat Crosby is ridiculous is not a product of insecurity, but rather wholly justified anger. What is really ironic is that one could make a very good argument that the way many Flyers fans treat Crosby and the Penguins, and behave in general (i.e. constant insults, boasts and boorish behavior) IS a product of insecurity. Flyers fans under 40 or so haven't experienced their team winning a Stanley Cup in their lifetimes. THAT tends to cause insecurity.I don't follow the NHL but geez man. You don't know what you are talking about. You said Crosby still cries if he doesn't get calls. What myself, and others, are saying is he doesn't whine like he did during his first few seasons. However, people who hate him or are jealous will still fall back on it or they don't watch Pens games and don't know what they are talking about.Wow, so I misspelled "petals" and I don't know what I'm talking about regarding hockey....geez. Oh, and Giroux is queer...did I cover it all? Feel better now? Napoleon complex.
Because they are so delusional and full of themselves. They think anything related to Philly is wonderful and the rest of the world is jealous. Hence the reason it's great to poke fun.I'm very confused why any Flyers fan think Pens fans are insecure just because they mock them. 1. Team captains, including yours, are supposed to be the members of the team interacting with the officials and advocating for their team. 2. Crosby takes a beating, probably more than any other player in the NHL. He would be have to be Jesus not to voice his displeasure from time to time. 3. If he was truly a "crybaby" than he would not have won or been nominated by his peers for the "players player" award on numerous occasions. 4. No, we don't expect rose petals, but a modicum of respect and basic human decency would be nice. 5. The Penguins organization and its fans, organist, etc., don't make a regular habit of orchestrating "Giroux sucks" cheers every time they play the Flyers. 6. The Penguins organization is known, and resents by some, for success (aka results). The Flyers organization and its fan base are known, and hated by some, for boorishness, goonery and false bravado. No Flyers fan will deny Crosby's talent, nor his integrity as a human being.
