So who will call plays at Miss State?

Pittsburgh guy but no direct connection I can see to JM. He's been moving thru the ranks but has always been a position coach. OC at a mid-pack SEC school is a big jump for him.

Agreed--real nice jump. And a good hire for Joe. The guy has worked with Jordy Nelson, Devante Adams, Randall Cobb, etc. Should be able to sell that

IIRC, at his press conference in Starkville, JoeMo said he would still be calling plays at Mississippi State.

Moorhead hires Luke Getsy as OC.
I would guess JoeMo. The title was held and given to Getsy to justify his pay. Though I haven't seen what it is, I would guess it's a bunch.

Did I miss something? Thought Huff was getting a promotion of sorts. Is he still just a running backs coach? Does he just want nicer weather?

Huff is Assistant HC/Run Game Coordinator/Running Backs Coach. Andrew Breiner, former Fordham HC, is the Passing Game Coordinator/ QB Coach. Getsy, from what I can tell so far, is the OC/WR Coach.

"Bunch" is relative. Billy Gonzales, Mullen's OC, made $400K. MSU's assistants , as a group, were the lowest paid in the SEC, but ranked in the Top 30 nationally.

If Getsy made the move just for the money and title then he's a fool.

Or with what's going on in Green Bay, he didn't have a choice. I don't know if that's the case, though
