South Bend visit

I will be making my first visit to Notre Dame Nov 11-13. Going to watch the PSU water polo club team play in the National Championships, and more specifically my son.
On the 12th football plays at Indiana, but no way I can make the long drive without missing the polo, so definitely appreciate any good bar/restaurant recs to watch the game. Also, any other pointers for things to do/see in South Bend or on ND campus.
