South Carolina Illinois getting extra chippy

South Carolina, all game, has substituted late on offense. So Illinois each times jogs some guys out after and South Carolina has no time to snap the ball. Then, on an injury, Illinois coach taunts SC coach about it with a substitution pose. Freaking hilarious. Beamer then lost it.

I hate Brett B but this whole substitution thing is not his fault. South Carolina is not subbing until late and he’s just doing what he should be doing and running his subs out there as slow as possible. South Carolina is intentionally putting them out late to try and force Illinois hand so they get what they deserve.
I noticed that. I don't get it from an SC standpoint. It doesn't hurt I'll at all.
If the taunting by bret was done by franklin playing osu or mich, he would be called for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Every team does this now. Well, the smart ones. If the offense subs, the defense is allowed time to sub. If you do it late, that's on you.

South Carolina and their "hottest team down the stretch" rating was based off beating A&M (overrated), Mizzou (overrated), and Clemson (overrated).

Illinois always had a case to make the playoffs as strong as any of the 3 loss SEC teams but of course didn’t get the SEC hype

The media has given a ton of credit to the SEC for winning these scrimmages. Whether it's legit or not, I say take advantage of it. I'm not going to rah-rah "Big 10!", but our media coverage should.
In the past, yes....with this playoff setup they won't. Comes down to Texas Georgia Penn State Oregon and Ohio State...I like the Big Ten's chances. I like our chances. Win tonight then let's go
