Finally had the opportunity to reunite with several of my high school teammates from SCA for the game last night. It was the first SCA game I saw in person since 1971. So naturally my first game in 50 years, Southern falls behind 30-13. Wyoming Area took it to them for the better part of 3 quarters. Southern pulled it out in the final 25 seconds to overcome the deficit. My question is, given the unprecedented success Southern Columbia has enjoyed, should I be considered a jinx (because they almost lost) or a good luck charm (because they overcame a 17 point deficit to win?
