Finally had the opportunity to reunite with several of my high school teammates from SCA for the game last night. It was the first SCA game I saw in person since 1971. So naturally my first game in 50 years, Southern falls behind 30-13. Wyoming Area took it to them for the better part of 3 quarters. Southern pulled it out in the final 25 seconds to overcome the deficit. My question is, given the unprecedented success Southern Columbia has enjoyed, should I be considered a jinx (because they almost lost) or a good luck charm (because they overcame a 17 point deficit to win?

Neither. Just blessed with an exciting games which is unique since many are early blowouts. Congrats!

Just be happy they actually played. A bunch of FB games here in NEPA were cancelled the past few weekends, as well as my step daughters HS soccer game today.

Wyoming Area is one class higher than Southern and was just out of the top ten in AAA heading into this game. It was a good win.

Mark your calendars for Oct. 1, when Southern visits Wyomissing who was ranked third this week in AAA.
