I've had Gummy on ignore for some time now. Whar's he bragging about these days? Is he still on Cael's and Frank's speed dial? I guess he also predicted the CS plea deal. Jackass.
Welcome to the board Richard. Another baseless attack on a fellow board member. Class at its finest.

So the evil empire of Harbaugh and Michigan reaches a slimy tentacle deep inside Central Pennsylvania to try to snatch a talented young player currently in 9th grade? Yuck.

Ha! I see that you're well liked here, sprouty. Baseless? Hardly. Well deserved is much more like it. You and himself wouldn't know an attack if one mugged you. On to ignore with you to join your girlfriend.

PSU needs to get on board with young Julian. Have you watched his Hudl video? He's gonna be in demand, bigley.:)

You can "redshirt" in HS?? Did not know that.

You can NOT redshirt in high school. You can be held be held back a year for academic reason in eight grade (or earlier) and still have 4 years to play high school. Once high school starts you have 4 years of eligibility; unless, a year is granted for serious illness, such as: cancer.

The borough of Columbia is in Lancaster County; not Columbia County.

The City of Chester is Delaware County; not Chester County.
Of Mifflin, Mifflintown, Mifflinburg and Mifflinville, none are in Mifflin County.
Washington, California, Indiana, Wyoming, Oregon and Texas are in Pa.

Getting back to Julian.....I referee in District 4, and did two games with Southern last year. Happened to meet his grandfather in a nearby bar after a game to "rehydrate" with the crew. Great family. That kid is going to be a very special player. Southern is a predominately running team that tries to overpower you.....but then throws when you least expect it...usually resulting in a TD. I hope Franklin gets on this kid ASAP

Aliquippa used to redshirt all the time like this all the time...they always had 16-17 year old freshmen ready to go every fall.

I was a freshman and remember Mondock's last game at SCA. He made an impassioned speech at the half against Frackville about his father being at the game. I believe Southern won 6-0. He gave the game ball to Mick. Of course none of us knew that he would later leave Southern. After we showered our buses stopped at a restaurant in Ashland where the band and cheerleaders awaited and the boosters bought us food. My future wife (who was a majorette) and I held hands and walked the streets and I got the courage to steal a kiss.
Many years later, with our adult sons in the car, we passed the spot and I told them about our first kiss. My late wife had no memory of the occasion. She was a beautiful girl and I'm sure that wasn't nearly the moment for her that it was for me. I never loved anyone else from the day I first saw her in the 7th grade.

If you're so ignorant that you have to ask others, perhaps you should take 21 Guns off ignore and figure it out for yourself....lazy Democrat.

1-2-3-4-5-6-7 all good Hurricanes go to Heaven, when they get there they will say, Frackville, Frackville where are they? Down in the boom, boom...boom.

It was 1964. I remembered it as a close game. 65 John Vastine and Dick Johns came and they(I don't know who was responsible) scheduled us against Berwick Shick, Shamokin, Danville etc and lost every game. The next year rebounded and got a schedule against similar schools and won the small division SVL. Vastine resigned and Joe Sarra came and coached in my senior year. Coach Sarra was a great, great man.

Common practice in Texas to repeat 7th or 8th grade if you play football. Becoming bad here in Balt/DC as well. Lots of private schools are recruiting kids as 8th graders and in order to assimilate them to the new private school they make them take their 8th grade year over. Starting to make its way in to public HS with some parents who are putting all their eggs in the athletic basket of their child.

What part of the state did Roth bring in this kid? I'll make a call or two and find out...
