any chance Lee would have come to PSU if Suriano wasn’t at PSU?

Better HS wrestler: Lee, Kolat or Ty Moore?

Will he win 4 titles?

There is a search function on this board. You should learn to use it.

I've answered this question several times. Lee's decision was not impacted by Suriano's presence. Suriano wanted Spencer to join him at PSU, and he planned to move to 133 once Spencer joined PSU's team.

Cael definitely pressed for Spencer as hard as any recruit but had he not secured Voldemort's services I think he may have upped the ante and put Spencer in irreversable headlock until he tapped out and signed.

Lee was the best. It's a shame his leg cost his an unblemished record. There are no asterisks in the W/L columns but he is the best I have seen over a full career. The best single season PA wrestler I ever saw was Bobby Weaver, in a word, 'unstoppable'.

Yes, 4x he is still getting better....

I have it on good authority the North’s fans booed the south when they entered the arena and they are still bitter about it today!

Apparently ….I learned from the video above..... they showered each other with many boo-llits. Not enough corn in Iowa for that one :)

Come on man he missed it I don’t think he needs to be admonished. It’s not the first time or last time this will happen. Are you saying you need to search before answering a question.

Nah, there is shady business going on at PSU and that is why neither are wrestling there. TRUTH

I know your post is facetious, but the truth of what happened at the end is also pretty cool history. Joshua Chamberlain was picked by Grant to receive the surrender of Lee's troops. When they marched past the soldiers of the North, Chamberlain had them snap to attention and salute as they passed by. Now that's an awesome example of class!

Ban is impressed and happy to hear there wasn't any booing

OT, Joshua Chamberlain was an amazing figure in the Civil War and without his contribution, the south might have won the battle at Gettysburg. He left his position as a professor at Bowdoin College to volunteer for the Union army at age 33. He also played pivotal roles in other major battles in the war. Good choice by Grant.

Yes. And had a distinguished career after the War. Here's Chamberlain's bio from Wiki for this worthwhile brief detour from the original thread topic:

Chamberlain was commissioned a lieutenant colonel in the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment in 1862 and fought at the Battle of Fredericksburg. He became commander of the regiment in June 1863. On July 2, during the Battle of Gettysburg, Chamberlain's regiment occupied the extreme left of the Union lines at Little Round Top. Chamberlain's men withstood repeated assaults from the 15th Regiment Alabama Infantry and finally drove the Confederates away with a downhill bayonet charge. Chamberlain was severely wounded while commanding a brigade during the Second Battle of Petersburg in June 1864, and was given what was intended to be a deathbed promotion to brigadier general. In April 1865, he fought at the Battle of Five Forks and was given the honor of commanding the Union troops at the surrender ceremony for the infantry of Robert E. Lee's Army at Appomattox Court House, Virginia.

After the war, he entered politics as a Republican and served four one-year terms of office as the 32nd Governor of Maine. He served on the faculty, and as president, of his alma mater, Bowdoin College. He died in 1914 at age 85 due to complications from the wound that he received at Petersburg.

There's a very nice Chamberlain Museum at Bowdoin College in beautiful Brunswick, ME.

Land of the soup can.

Did someone say soup cans?

Why don’t imgur posts work for me anymore? Is there another free posting site that works better? Got it to work by just posting the web address instead of using the picture link button.

While you're at Imgur, right click the image and 'copy image url' (different browsers may have different variants of that). The image URL you paste should end in .jpg (or .png, etc). If you just copy and paste the URL from the browser bar, you're dragging a lot more with you than just the image.

I did that and I get the red x

You can test whether your image URL will work by pasting it into a separate browser tab. If it appears there, it should be fine. If it breaks there, you did something wrong.

There's also the off-chance that your image is an unsupported format, and Rivals is rejecting it. I've seen some places have problems with *.jpegs (as opposed to *.jpgs)
