Potential future PSU targets

I think we're done in 2026, except for depth guys (some of whom could start elsewhere).

The Raneys are rumored to be looking at Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio State, and OKST. (OKST aeems unlikely with both Forrest and Vega there.)

Mocco has visited PSU, Ohio State, NC State, Iowa, and OKST. Am guessing he'll go tan -- likely 4-yr starter with excellent traing partners (Dhesi, Hemida, Feldman, and RTC Coach Moore). Last summer he got wrecked by Cole -- high probability of being a 2-yr starter at PSU.

Munaretto has visited Illinois, Missouri, Arizona State, UNC, VT, OKST, and Ohio State. No idea where he's going but it probably isn't here. Rooting for Cenzo.

Coby Merrill is probably not joining his brother at OKST, with Ross and Austin Johnson committed. Wouldn't count on him coming here though. I don't think there' interest in either direction.

Adam Waters has been to Lehigh, Missouri, Michigan, ASU, UNC, VT, OKST, and Ohio State. Doesn't matter, no room for another 184/197 top-20 guy.

Anyone else is pure depth at PSU.

I think Cael is going after Mocco a little stronger than people think, but who knows how it ends up.

I personally think we won’t land Mocco. I could see us going to the portal (if) the Twins leave. Not sure how they stack up with our future plans but if they both can’t crack the lineup, then we may see them both portal together. If they do portal, I can definitely see us looking at our Big Red friends up north. Not sure what is gonna go on with that lineup, but they currently have Jude and Rocco committed to them in the Class of 2025. I know Rocco’s brothers is the starter at 197. Both Rocco and Jude are highly touted at their weights so we may see a transfer from one of them possibly

They also have Elijah Diakomihalis (sitting out his senior HS year due to injury), but he's more likely a 197.

I’m absolutely biased in this take, but I hope they go after Chase Karenbauer (Grove City) and Kendahl Hoare (DuBois).

Karenbauer is a fun one to watch and isn’t afraid to let it fly against anyone. He’s beaten other studs in his class like Keegan Bassett too.

Hoare has a pretty good ceiling and he’s positioned to place at AAA states as a freshman in an upper weight class. It also helps that PSU already has an in through our top recruiter @smalls103 who was teammates with Hoare’s uncle at Bloomsburg.

Cenzo was Top 5 yes.

I think Kasak was outside Top 10, Levi was like 7 or 8 and Starocci was 9. Elite obviously but nothing that guarantees the career they've had thus far.

He's probably a 197, mayyyyybe can cut to 184 in college, either way, No, nor will there be. We're pretty full in his weight range, with better prospects. Too many in that range already.

Sidun, Hutcherson, and Villasenor are the 3 on this list that are PSU material. Villasenor will end up at Oklahoma State, Hutcherson's size and athleticism has PSU written all over him. Sidun could be a career 125lb kid.

I think that both Villasenor and Sidun will have to be a career 125 to have the degree of success PSU fans expect, but Villassenor isn't coming East in any event. Hutch is the real deal.

Willie said in a recent show with Basch he’s definitely stock up of late, and should land in the top ten of his next big board.
