I read several articles on this. Two things stood out, one was there is a feeling that Stanford is not embracing the NIL deals. There was a direct quote from Shaw stating that a number of his players will be interested in entering the portal. I was surprised that he would say that.

Welcome to college free agency. Money talks or players walk. We need to be thinking about who we are going to lose given how far behind Michigan and Ohio State we actually are.
