I just read this snippet on espn's college football page:

"STANFORD BAND BANNED FROM ROAD GAMES

An investigation by Stanford's Organization Conduct Board and Title IX office found that the band violated the school's policy on alcohol, hazing and sexual harassment."

Culture. Maybe we should embrace PSU's false football culture problem. If Stanford can have a culture problem, then why can't we? ;)

Stanford's band (and Harvard's the few times I've seen them) are generally pretty 'disrespectful' toward their opponents from what I recall. It's not a big loss for them to not be there.

I was in the Blue Band and saw the Stanford band at the 1992 Blockbuster Bowl. They didn't make fun of us, but they were a clown show. Some fans find them amusing, but I've never been impressed with them.

I didn't see them in 1992. Have seen then at ND. The worst was when I went to an Army vs Harvard game years ago (had to- family friends). It was at West Point and that's the only time I've seen a band not only booed but people in the stands literally wanted to go kick their backsides. To this day I'm glad when Harvard loses anything. ;)

We can not ever have a culture problem. Why? We are ... As for Stanford, sure would miss seeing their band!
