Steelers-Broncos (ot)

Denver played well took advantage of opportunity's while steelers didn't. Looks like NE going to SB though.

Yes, Brocos won in overtime with the Pats not having Edelman, Amendola, Hightower, Jamie Collins and Gronk went down late. It's a week to week league so I know that 1+1 does not equal 2, but a fully healthy Pats offense certainly helps the Pats chances.

Flip side, New England has had a horrible track record of going into Denver and getting the win.

Should be fun!
What you should take a look at is Brady vs Manning head to head. IIRC Brady has owned Payton the past 10-15 years.

Denver D will keep the game close.. NE has nobody on their line to matchup with Ware. Plus Brady doesn't play well in Denver.

NE Should win tho.

Well, I wanted the Steelers to win but to me the loss is no big deal. I had no financial stake in the game so my life will not change. Sadly, my brother-in-law will go into a month of mourning.

Be kind.....don't tell him Feb has an extra day this year!

Think Amendola might miss a game or two for his goal-line hit.....?

I think this is the end of the road for Peyton. Yes he may be a very intelligent QB but he does not look like a top QB in this league anymore. To me he looks below average...he only makes up for a lot of it with his IQ.
I'm rooting for him next week but I think New England beats Denver handily.

I don't. I think he'll be fined but not suspended. In spite of the ridiculous thread below, the play was legal, the hit was not because he lowered his head. However he hit him in the shoulder, not helmet to helmet, so a fine for leading with the head in my opinion.

We'll see what NY says...

Not that it decided the game, but I found it incredible they didn't say Manning game himself up and was therefore down regardless of being touched. Terrible game-changer IMO. Regardless, Steelers had their chances, couldn't cut it. Just too many injuries this year.

Not sure it matters. I heard through the grapevine that maybe Brown would be out for next week too...probably Deangelo as well. Steelers had no shot at NE. But if healthy I think they could have won the SB
Interesting to see which receiver they let go next year. They can't pay them all with Brown going to 6.5 million
