When asked about Bengals offense...responds by saying how much trouble Tyler Eifert has given them. Eifert has been on IR since October! OMG.....is it a wonder why they stop nobody...

Maybe he was trying to say something nice about the Bengals offense

To be fair, players were being referred to by numbers, not name, so could just easily have been mixed up with their actual active TE

Gosh I don't know, but maybe, just maybe, he was referring to the fact that Eifert has killed them, as have all athletic TE's done to the Steelers over the years, over the years? Crazy thought I know.

...and hoping not to see the Ickey Shuffle.
Sorry, had to....

Wrong. They have an awful HC that should’ve been canned years ago.

Yeah he is awful I mean the second best winning % among his time is hideous.

A better win/loss total then Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, Bud Grant, Joe Gibbs, Curly Lambeau, and Chuck Noll. It’s obvious he can’t coach a lick.

Look at the talent he has on this team that might not make the playoffs. 3 pro bowl lineman. Antonio brown who will go down as a top 5 all time WR. Juju who is a pro bowl snub. While the defense has some holes, there is enough talent there that they should be at least average.. watt, Haden, cam, tuitt

And all those other coaches never had talent huh??
He makes bad decisions, but stats and facts show he isn’t an awful coach??

I would suggest that the incredible talent he has had has masked his gross shortcomings as a coach. His players are so talented that they win in spite of his gross game-day incompetence.

I agree, I forgot to mention he has a hall of fame quarterback.

And his downfall is the guy who has the better winning % then him coaches in the same conference as him as had a better QB.

This is a bad argument, the Steelers lost to the jags in the 2017 playoffs, not the patriots (Blake bottles at QB).

2015 - lost to the broncos (39 year old Peyton), not the pats in the playoffs.

2014 - lost to ravens(Flacco...), not pats.

2011 - lost to broncos (Tebow), not pats

2010 - lost to packers, not pats

2016 and 2004 we have lost to the pats.. but it’s not like the pats have knocked us out every year

Do you have any reading comprehension whatsoever?????

I was talking about CINCINNATI’S HC!!!!!

Ya know. MARVIN LEWIS?!?!?!

My god. Learn to read.

There's something missing on this team in all areas other than maybe the offensive line. The offense's play including Ben has been inconsistent. For the veteran he is, at times he looks like a rookie or someone knocking the rust off.
The defense, while obviously having gaps in talent, has had no personality or strategy, maybe except when they somehow came up with both against the Patriots. While the offensive side of the game has become league and this team. This team has historically always had a (near) league-leading defense. Even their main division rival Baltimore has been able to turn theirs around in a year. The Steelers have been rebuilding theirs for nearly a handful that was supposedly necessary to the inadequacies of Dick LeBeau. Personally they should consider trading their first round picks for lower rounds or direct the money to better free agents. Their linebacking corp is quickly becoming similar to the Pirates infield.
The Steeler's strategy of hiring coaches for the very long run may have caught up with them. Changes throughout the staff may be in order.
By the way, I'm a Steeler fan which makes it more painful, other than the fact I'm old enough to remember and appreciate all their Super Bowl teams.

With apologies to Hughes Mearns and his poem (Antigonish)...

Yesterday while planning defenses in my chair,
I saw a tight end who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today,
I wish, I wish he'd stay away.

:)

Why be fair when you can be OUTRAGED over something that seems to not be accurate.
