Steelers Ravens game thread

This game is like a September PSU game.; that’s how uncompetitive it is. The Steelers really have no business in the playoffs right now because they’ve devolved into a pretty bad and feckless team. How do you not go for it on that last fourth down? Lately, my favorite thing about a Steelers game are the post game call in shows.
Agree. And I think most of the other teams in the AFC Playoffs are glad Pittsburgh got in over Cincinnati and Joe Burrow who ended up winning 5 or 6 in a row to finish the season. Just wonder how much longer Tomlin has left in Pittsburgh

As long as he wants probably...sadly

Steelers just aren't that talented right now, but Baltimore could go a long way this year. How do you stop Henry, Lamar and (esp. if they get Likely back) that group of receivers and a solid O-line. Steelers sold out to stop Henry in 1st half and Lamar killed them. They sold out to stop Lamar in the 2nd half and Henry took over. Ravens dominated the LOS and that's football.

We will see how the rematch with Buffalo at Buffalo goes this time around. The Ravens won the regular season match handily 35 - 10.

I do believe that the 2 rookie OL who were thrust into starting roles may have hit that 'rookie wall' due to the length of the season and the physicality of every opponent that they compete against.

I'll close with a couple of thoughts. I believe that the Steelers coaches and their staff do a really good job of training and preparing the team to compete at the highest level. But where I see them falling short is in the implementation of any innovation in their weekly game plan.

And 'the general, Mike Tomlin, is deficient in repositioning his troops (players) in combat (on the field) to counter what the opponent is doing in real time. The inability to devise a scheme that would be more effective against the running game of Baltimore's 2 headed monster was and is disappointing.

Especially with all of the high priced talent that the Steelers employ on the defensive side of the ball.
