Have a couple nice reports from the three commits from Roman Catholic yesterday. They were able to defeat Parkland yesterday 70-38 (Parkland without their two best players playing football) Roman is one of the best 5 high school basketball teams in the country, wouldn't shock me if they spent time as the #1 team in the country this year, they are absolutely loaded led by Stevens, Carr, and Bostick.
Lamar Stevens lead all scorers with a game high 23 points and he hit three mid-range jump shots, very encouraging. Stevens scored in the mid-range and attacking the rim. He also totaled five rebounds and three assists.
Tone Carr set the tone by controlling the game throughout. He totaled seven points, seven assists, and seven rebounds, while not playing the fourth quarter. What is very impressive is that he only had one turnover. That's how I envision Carr at PSU, he isn't ever going to avreget 20, but he is a finger print player. He affects the game is so many different ways.
Bostick ended the game with nine points, mostly scoring in transition. Bostick held their best player in six points. He is a player who is going to play hard and make the most of his opportunities.
I hope to have more reports like this in the future for you all.
